Beatles has aptly put it

There’s nothing you can do that can’t be done
Nothing you can sing that can’t be sung
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game
It’s easy

There’s nothing you can make that can’t be made
No one you can save that can’t be saved
Nothing you can do but you can learn to be you in time
It’s easy

All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need

(Love, love, love)
(Love, love, love)
(Love, love, love)

Romance during PhD is a different ball game all together. The academia, to some, appears like a perfect place for stolen glances and brushes of the hand   but intimacy in the academia gets lost somewhere between the cobwebs of plagiarism, conferences, references and the puzzling research. Having said all this, I still know of many a examples of my fellow scholars who have got hitched during their doctoral journey.   Their tasks have multiplied as they have got hitched with other fellow scholars as now they need to look into two researches instead of one. However, if two persons are meant for each other they do end up meeting and do not stop exploring that opportunity for you. It may come up with its own set of unusual issues but isn’t it natural to believe that Ph.D. students need a bit of affection too? So move forward and open the gates of affection and love in your mundane PhD routine.
